Versace Ready-To-Wear Spring / Summer 2018

This is the show that even if you aren't interested in fashion, you've definitely heard of. Marking the twentieth year anniversary of Gianni Versace's death, Donatella put on an incredible show of remembrance, celebration and nostalgia. Using some of Gianni's original prints she created a wonderful twist on his most classic styles. Of course we can't fail to mention the show-stopping ending; Carla Bruni, Claudia Schiffer, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Helena Christensen all poised in flowing golden gowns ready for the curtain drop and final walk alongside Donatella Versace. As George Michael's 'Freedom' plays and the five supermodels of the era walk shoulder to shoulder you can't help but think what a fitting tribute this is for such an influential designer, who I am sure will inspire for many years to come.
