Dior Ready-To-Wear Spring / Summer 2018

Honestly I don't think a Dior has ever failed to take my breath away, However this collection really steals the top spot at Paris Fashion Week this year in my opinion. Even though it has more of an Autumn-witch-grunge vibe than a usual Summer collection, it definitely caters to my 'wear black all year round' attitude to clothing, so you won't see me complain here! One of the most striking print shirts is the "Why Have There Been No Great Women Artists?" striped T which is possibly a continuation of the shirt from last year which stated 'We Should All Be Feminists', this quote was taken from the title of an essay written in 1971 by Linda Nochlin. Chiuri has taken this stance on women's rights and equal rights multiple times and using the Dior shows as a platform to express such an important issue is incredibly admirable and I look forward to seeing what she produces next!
