Balmain x L'oréal Lipstick Collection
On the 20th September Balmain is launching it's first capsule collection, including 12 lipstick shades priced at $14 a tube, which I personally think is an absolute steal! Balmain's creative director Olivier Rousteing explained in an interview that his aim was for the shade to be as diverse as possible to match “every kind of skin color and continent and culture”, the shades are even inspired by real models that frequent Rousteing's Circles. Rousteing's goal is to create a more accessible Balmain “With the makeup,” he explains, “it’s a way to invite them to have a piece of Balmain.”
I for one am all for this new approach to high fashion, will you guys be buying a shade on launch?
