Alexander Wang Ready-To-Wear Spring / Summer Collection 2018

A very unpredictable show was put on by Alexander Wang this year, his tour bus full of models decked out in his newest collection made multiple stops that night for an impromptu runway show. The entourage stopped at Lafayette and Center Streets in Manhattan and also at Astor Place; both shows were open to the public. However this kind of approach isn't unheard of, last year Wang was selling his Adidas merch out of the back of a truck! As far as this collection goes it's incredibly visually stimulating, his layering techniques and stitching together of different clothing is a very unique look and one that will fit right in for the coming spring, my personal favourite being the silk cami top stitched onto an off-shoulder knit, so gorgeous! Definitely a trend you want to keep an eye on when you go shopping for next season!
