Raf Simons Spring / Summer 2018 Collection
A DYSTOPIAN SUMMER

Soaking wet and shimmering with neon, Raf Simons' second collection began under the Manhattan bridge. In this collection we are seeing more metallics and shimmers combined with oversized knitwear and suit jackets, Simons has put his own spin on the trends of the season so far by using imagery created by Peter Saville to create block prints on some of the garments. Don't forget your umbrella!
LEATHER AND METALLICS
The gorgeous neon sheen reflecting off of these jackets and trenchcoats gives a really surreal look to these garments, especially on the backwards black jacket that appears to be made up of little squares. The colour blocking and layering combo really makes the outfits pop even amongst all the colourful lighting.
DISTRESSED KNITWEAR
These extremely baggy knitwear pieces are my favourite from this collection (as knitwear usually is), again Simons displays an amazing eye for layering garments aesthetically and this is definitely something I will be adopting for my spring wardrobe and I'm pretty certain we are going to be seeing a lot more of this style on the runway and on the high street so make sure you all keep up!
